Week 1 - Saturday - January 28, 2006

Today was my longest run in over 20 years.....5 miles. I think the last time I ran this far was during High School track and although it has been that long, I felt pretty good.

I turned left onto route 62 and ran the one and a half miles to Cabmridge St. I turned left onto Cambridge St, past all of the businesses, past the Dunkin Donuts and UP THAT HILL. That was the toughest part, however, I made it without stopping up to Building 19 where I took a small walk.

I ran around Building 19, back down the hill and back home again making it to within about a half mile before I had to walk again due to my knee starting to hurt. I'm hoping it isn't anything to worry about and plan to make a call to my doctor.
