Week 2 - Thursday - February 2, 2006

Today was another 3 mile run day. I decided to see if I could run it faster than usual and tried to keep a fast pace. The knee started to ache a bit at the 2 mile mark but only for a few minutes and then felt fine. At about the 2.5 mark, I was certainly feeling tired due to the pace but kept a mental focus on beating my best time as well as focusing on a new building. The final 1/4 mile was all out...as fast as I could. I left nothing left and managed to knock off 2 minutes from my previous best time.

That felt good.

Another three miles done!
