Week 5 - Wednesday - February 22, 2006 My 7 mile run consisted of my four mile run then my three mile run putting my house at the 4 mile mark. Before I got started, I put a bottle of PowerAde in my driveway with the plan to stop for a rest and have a drink. After running the four, however, I felt good and was concerned that if I stopped, I would have a hard time starting again so I just ran past the house. (And mentally waved to my drink). I did make it all 7 miles and after stretching, felt very good. Exept for my 8 mile run about 2 weeks ago, this is the furthest I have ever run without stopping and looking back, I think I felt better after this run than I did at the 7 mile mark of that run. Seven miles done! |
